Stingray Branding has designed a new website for D & R Gunsmithing of Charleston, South Carolina.
The company offers a full service, skilled gunsmithing service in the lowcountry.
The web design is a simple, five page layout, easy to navigate and shop.
The D&R Gunsmithing site features a homepage, about page, services section, shop page and contact page. Before visiting the store, people can get a good idea of what D&R offers and what to expect in the store.
The homepage starts with a slider offering more information about D&R and about the services they offer with clickable links to direct users straight to those pages. Then the homepage features a few of the services the gunsmithing business offers, followed by some information about the business, testimonials and finally the contact information, a contact form and the Facebook feed all in the footer.
The about page for D&R Gunsmithing’s website lets people know more about how the founders, Rich and Diana, started the business. Viewers can also view a Google map for the location and easily get directions. About pages are a great tool for search engine optimization and Stingray Branding makes sure to feature and repeat keywords the company would like to rank high for on Google, Bing and Yahoo.
The services page has a moving gallery of images of the custom work D&R performs on firearms as well as a drop down section for each service. Stingray Branding utilizes an accordion so the user is not overwhelmed with text while visiting the page. They can easily navigate to the service they are interested in, such as Cerakote, then open up the section on this service to view more information and images related.
D&R Gunsmithing chose not to have a shopping cart directly on the website, but rather to provide a shop page with a listing with images of the different products and services they sale and ask shoppers to call the office directly. With customization such an important part of D&R Gunsmithing’s shop, the pricing and work differs greatly from client to client. For this company in particular, it makes more sense for those interested to call and speak with an employee directly for information before making a purchase.
Finally, Stingray Branding built a contact page featuring a Google map of the location to easily view the address, Google reviews and directions. The map is followed by a contact form for users to contact D&R Gunsmithing with questions or custom work, along with contact information including phone, email and mailing address. Stingray Branding also included links to D&R’s Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Linkedin as the company uses social media to post updates and images of custom work to share with their followers.
